Painting In The Field: Celebrating 100 Years of Weleda

This year marks 100 years of Weleda and their commitment to nature, health and wellness and I’m looking forward to being part of the celebrations. Weleda’s incredible biodynamic gardens in Derbyshire are local to my studio and somewhere I love to take inspiration from.  Please come and join me for a painting activity at their Centenary Open Day event. To celebrate Weleda’s Centenary, my collaborative painting activity invites you to capture the beauty of the plants and flowers at the Weleda Field. My own designs start with a painting so take inspiration from my style or make your own mark to capture this milestone moment on canvas. A unique chance to collectively portray the spirit and colour of Weleda’s biodynamic garden.

You’ll find me in the calendula field all day* with paints and brushes for you to use, join in and be part of the creation. Open to all ages and abilities, no experience needed, included within your ticket price. 

The gardens really are quite an experience to paint in. As I found out when creating my Weleda Christmas Gift Set packaging designs.

Weleda Open Day Programme

Weleda’s Open Day is a rare opportunity to visit the 13 acres of private biodynamic gardens. This is where Weleda nurtures and grows the plants at the heart of their production. In addition you can discover the beauty and power of nature, learn about the plants that inspire the products, and immerse yourself in a century of heritage and wellness.

Tickets are £10 each or £20 for a family ticket, and sales of these will be donated to the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.  Book your place today.

Enjoy other activities and workshops throughout the day. These include hand massages, inspirational talks and garden tours.

As you explore the beautiful gardens, enjoy a refreshing drink and snacks from the delicious food stalls offering tasty treats. Weleda’s Shop on Heanor Road will also be open throughout the event with experts on hand for advice.
