Decorate your home with Glass Art Panels

20th March 2022

Known for her glass splashbacks and decorative glassware, Emma also regularly undertakes the creation of glass art panels for clients. These range from stunning decorative wall art pieces to functional, interior windows and glass windowsills. Emma really can create something to suit almost any aspect of your home. Involving you in the design process throughout, she will deliver made to measure glass panels for you to enjoy.

These project examples give you an idea of where in your home you might enjoy Emma’s glass art panels. Working closely with clients, Emma will realise your wishes and more thanks to her flair for making beautiful glass pieces that will complement your lovely home.

Staircase glass art panels

Taking inspiration from nature, these staircase panels capture the light and have a subtle sparkle. The brief was simple, contemporary ‘ Silver Birch Trees’. However, the design had to work from close-up and far away, due to their mid stairwell location. No matter how tricky the commission, Emma’s skill as a designer will prevail to create your desired look.

We had some ideas of what we wanted and Emma discussed our ideas and then came back with some examples and concepts which were totally new and really imaginative. This was our first foray into commissioning artworks but Emma made it easy – she was very clear about costs and timings and what we might expect. Mr & Mrs Newton Nottingham

Glass art window screens for privacy

These window screens were designed to create a sense of privacy without being overbearing. The design challenge was to create something captivating that would work from both inside and outside. Commissioned by a client who travelled extensively, the desired design was about creating a sense of some of their lived experiences. Linsay lent Emma a stunning collection of photographs ranging from urban scenes to natural world panoramas, for Emma to draw from. The resulting window screen design incorporates urban and nature inspired elements for both a stylish and practical interior piece.

Complement your splashback design with matching glass windowsills

Use Emma’s splashback collection designs to create glass art panels for other areas of your home. Emma’s popular Watercolour in Ebony glass splashback features in this project with made to measure windowsills in the same pattern. Designed to fit the flow and feel of the space, the windowsills are a stunning finish touch for this kitchen. They’re super easy to clean and really unify the entire look of the space. There is a matching tray in this design too. Of course, you could choose one or more of Emma’s splashback designs for any windowsill spaces in your home such as bedrooms or living rooms – there’s no need to have the matching splashback if it’s not appropriate to the space.

Beautiful and bright glass artworks for your home

The potential of glass art panels is almost infinite, Emma can work in unsual shapes and sizes to create a statement piece for your interior.  The beautiful brights and triangular panels in this image were made for a Floral Marquee exhibit at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. Imagine something similar and at scale for a hallway entrance or light filled dining room.
