I’m delighted to reveal we’ve won the only Highly Commended accolade in the Customer Favourite category in the Artisan Founder Business Awards. We were within a whisker of winning the top spot for this very meaningful award, thanks to the huge amount of support from our customers, followers and the judging panel.
Being acknowledged for the Customer Favourite Award really endorses my commitment to customer service. It’s at the very heart of everything we do here at Emma Britton. This accolade also sits so nicely alongside our ‘Best of Houzz’ Award for Customer Service in 2025 for the 10th consecutive year .
The Artisan Founder Awards garnered huge enthusiasm when nominations opened back in June and over 5,500 people joined in to vote for Emma Britton Decorative Glass Designer as one of the finalists. The awards shine a light on independent makers, creators and founders building something special.
Whether you’re ordering a designer splashback or a beautiful set of etched glassware, we ensure the same care for everybody and love to surprise, delight and go the extra mile when it comes to service. It’s such an honour that the Artisan Founder Awards have recognised the special attention we give to our customers whether that’s from the heart of my Derbyshire Glass Studio itself, at an event or fitting a splashback in your home.

The renowned ceramicist Sue Pryke with a love of tableware, working with slipcast coloured porcelain. Sue has worked as an in-house designer and as a freelance designer for over 20 years for retailers and manufacturers. She has notably designed many recognisable ranges for IKEA.
Founding Creative Partner at leading design agency The One Off, Richard Collier specialises in creating branded environments and experiences that drive growth for global retailers and organisations. He has over 20 years working with the biggest names in retail.
Anisha Mistry has spent over 13 years helping brands elevate their presence through carefully crafted communication strategies. Blending her love for writing, the media, beautiful products and well thought-out services, Anisha supports small businesses, designer-makers and founders by helping them gain traction in the press.
Lyndsey James, founding Editor of The Artisan Founder, and host of The Artisan Founder podcast. A Creative Director with 20 years experience creating ecommerce and high street retail brands of her own, she has spoken as an industry expert for clients including Etsy, Vodafone Business and Time Inc. Lynsey is on a mission to help artisan businesses to independently thrive online.
