Emma now has four collections and a growing range of co-ordinating homeware and glassware. Emma’s Bespoke Design Service is really popular, and Emma’s splashbacks now grace kitchens nationwide. Her ability to bring all the elements together and create a design which is so much more than a splashback, it is a functional work of art. In buying a piece you are essentially becoming a patron of the designer. Customer service and attention to detail are really important to Emma. Award winning, ‘Best of Houzz’ for the past three consecutive years.
Her signature florals have earned her recognition in the press and the opportunity to design for some high profile clients.
“As a glass designer I see glass as a canvas with which to apply pattern sometimes opaque, sometimes translucent. My own inspiration comes from British suburbia and although my patterns are contemporary they are rooted in nostalgia, I am fascinated with the way people decorate their homes both in the 20th Century and today. I enjoy meeting so many clients and being a part of their interior process and seeing my designs in such a variety of different homes and styles. I really enjoy designing for site-specific spaces, working directly with clients to realise their space.”
All Emma Britton splashbacks are hand-finished to industry standards. Emma is able to develop new approaches and techniques to glass design within her own laminated glass studio and we produce both in-house and work with experts in the UK glass industry to fulfil a wide range of projects from supply-only to supply and install.
